• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CRUMBS

SSA is a pension. You paid into it, with the expectation of being able to get money back out of it, at a later date.

It's not a hand-out: it's the only true "entitlement".

Welfare: now THAT's a hand-out!

I really don't care what they call it, as long as it keeps coming. I'll leave the wrestling match up to you and UP.

Does your pension have cost of living allowance? There are some that do, and that's not really reflective of the new tax law(s). In any case congrats In 2018 my first Pension check ( in Jan 2018 ) reflected this years COLA ( cost of living increase ). Then in Feb. after they figured out my new withholding based on the New ( crumbs :roflblack: ) Tax rate. I received a $ 46.00 addition to my normal ( after the cola ) monthly pension............... I'm not complaining nor am I dis- appointed ........... Mike

What pensions are you guys talking about anyway? SSA isn't a 'pension' so maybe you're talking about a union pension? Or one of the few corporate pensions left?

If you are talking about SSA, then whatever increase you saw in your payments had nothing to do with the 2018 tax law. I think we're mixing apples and hand grenades here...

I get a pension check and social security.
