There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Cruise ship comment

Just came back from a 2 week Hawaiin cruise on the Princess Sapphire and it was a fantastic vacation! This was our 4 cruise and for what you get (meals, entertainment, lodging) you can't get a cheaper vacation. That being said these are mechanical machines that run steady 24/7, so this type of thing is bound to happen.

Alot of people do not realize that Carnival owns the following lines:Holland America Line, Princess Cruises and Seabourn Cruise Line in North America; P&O Cruises, Cunard Line and Ocean Village in the United Kingdom; AIDA in Germany; Costa Cruises in southern Europe; Iberocruceros in Spain; and P&O Cruises in Australia.Rate

I'll be going out on sapphire in early June in Alaska. I let a friend talk me into princess. They are the highest rated for Alaska. I'll try anything once so I can critic it good or bad. I do have a great room, the sailing you just finished doesn't have it yet. The ship is getting refitted in May and my room is on the 12th floor facing the back right next to the terrace pool. Ah the Love Boat.

...just stay away from Carnival and Norwegian.

I did Carnival in 94 and Royal Caribbean in '98. I just did a cruise with Norwegian a few weeks ago and we thought (my wife has done her share of cruises but before we married) that Norwegian was the best by far. So why you say to stay away from Norwegian???:dontknow:

I did a cruise in 07 in the Hawiian Islands during pearl harbor aniversary and it was a rainy week and one island week could not hook up with the tender so we had some time on the ship and there was absolutely nothing to do. The freestyle food set up sucked, cause we were with a group and it was hard getting together. and you could not make reservation ahead . It was on an American Flaged ship, The Pride of Hawaii which ment it had mostly american help an they were lousy. My kids were on one to bermuda and they had the same complaints. So no more Norwegian for me. Oasis and Allure are the most amazing ships on the water. The is a reason Royal Caribean has way more ships than anyone else.

I've always wanted a cruise on the Oasis of the Seas or the Allure. My wife and I were on a RC cruise to Quebec several years ago and the cruise director described the ship during the Q&A time near the end of the cruise. It had not been released for service yet and I looked it up online. Since then I saw it on Mighty Ships on TV and reviews in the newspaper. Many guests elect to stay on the ship when they make a ports call because there simply is too much to do onboard. Of course, the experience off the ship can be amazing too without repacking your bags.
