• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just got courage to install my Cruise-mate last night. I'm not Mr. Mechanical, but was able to install it my self with the help of an other set of hands(must). Wasn't too hard and the guy from Cruise-mate was very helpful. Took it for a short spin this morning and it works as advertised, I'm looking forward to being able to give my right hand at rest on rides this next year. Best of all a mod that I will definitely use for under 70 bucks.

that looks like a interesting lil device. i have the cruise control on the bike but only use it when i need to put my right arm down to rest it because it starts to go numb on me.

How is this really different than cruise control?

And sounds dangerous that it doesn't release when hitting the brake?

you can throttle back w/o releasing it so all you need to do is twist forward it is made to just hold enough pressure so it does not twist forward

So just a touch more convenient than setting cruise control.

I have my cruise control down pat, but I don't like how it doesn't work below 26 mph.

It would be nice to set around 22-23 mph down our main strip area when not busy. :)

cruise will not work in a car under 20 to 30 MPH give it a try

:agree: I can get my Terrain to hold @25mph but no lower. I can do the same with my Spyder @26mph on level ground but it will kick off up hill or in a strong headwind. Good for school zones
