• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cruise Control

effgjamis

Ride Forrest Ride!
I have installed MCCruise Cruise control.. Yep abit expensive.

I had some issues, but the manufacture MCCruise came through with flying colors, They support their product hands down.

I needed some additional help and lucky me, I had a dealer close to me who handles the McCruise Control.
SpoiledBiker.com ... what a knowledagle individual he is. Covers removed,, clink clank, bang boom, and the fine tuning was finished.

My kudoes to Tony Guymer of McCruise and Super 2 attaboy's for Joe Sears of SpoiledBiker.

Later when I post all my mods I will have pictures.

Check both peeps out at mccruise.com and spoiledbiker.com

PS:
Simple to install and adjust if you know what you doing as the instructions are all there.

Thanks, your link worked. Have you got to use it very much and what do you think of it? How did you pick it over the audiovox unit?

I have no experience with the audiovox unit.
I heard some good comments about the McCruise and decided to buy and try..
I have had an issue or two, but McCruise and Spoiledbiker resolved those issues.
I have used it for about 150 miles and worked just fine.
I am not disappoined, not in the least, as my problems was some of mine, and not really understanding the instructions, which after shown, was quite clear.
I am really anxious about my trip I am planning in the near future. Once I get all squared away and the weather clears up abit.
I would suggest you ask others, as there are some on spyderlovers who has the cruise installed, then the decision is all yours.

After reading all of the posts on the MCcruise cruise control for the spyder I think I'm sold.

One of the members on here, Rando, had one for sale that he bought but then decided he didn't want it and was trying to sell it. You might try giving him a PM to see if he still has it. It was new in the box, never installed when I saw it back in September.

He sold his Micron, but I don't think he posted selling the cruise control. He still had it on November 14. Best thing to do would be PM him. He is on the member list, so it is easy to find him.

I talked with Rando prior to my buying the McCruise Control that he had for sale on a Friday, and Monday following, I decided to buy, but was sold.
therefore I did purchase the Cruise, so happened from the Mfg, and prior to my having knowledge of Spoiledbiker dealer not but 15 miles from my home.

Thanks Rando!
