• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cruise Control

I bought a Motor Cycle Cruise cruise control for my spyder. I have had it on for about two weeks now. Installed before going to Gatlinburg. It is expensive about 662.00 US. This is just one of the many modifications I have made but was probably the easiest to install and works as advertised.
The instructions are very clear and it performs as well as a cruise control on most cars.
Even though the cost is high it is still better than trying to make something work that was not designed for what is being applied too.
If anyone likes to take long trips with a great deal of cruising I recommend this as the best option I have tried.
I have had three different styles of throttle lock cruise conteols on my spyder and they do work, just have to keep adjusting to try and not go to fast or to slow. They are certainly better than nothing.
I have no connection with the above mentioned company. But they have been in business for a long time and this is a true motorcycle cruise control with the proper connections for safety and control of the throttle.
I will be glad to answer any questions you may have just wanted to pass along information of what I believe is a good product that can be installed by anyone that can read and look at pictures, took about two hours start to finish including removing body panels and closing everything back up.
