• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am having a problem with my cruise control. When I try to set it the screen shows it going from on to set to off. The switch has been replaced twice now. I think there is something else going on. Any suggestions?

Could it be that you're indadvertently pushing the switch a little bit sideways, when trying to set it? :dontknow:
Mine is a bit fussy; I've found that if I just do EXACTLY what the instructions say...

Cruise won't work?

push nstright dowen to set if you are pushing just a little side was it turns off.:2thumbs::chat:
I don't understand straight and up and down. Do you mean straight fully to the left? Up and down disconnects the cruise? I have not been able to get mine to work either but then again I don't use the cruise very often.

If it still does it try putting your foot under the brake pedal and pull up while you set it.
mine did that until I got the switch adjusted.

What year is your Spyder? Maybe have the Tech take a look at the gear position switch.

You push down on the top of the switch to set the cruise control. Once you have set a speed, and canceled by hitting the brake or shifting gears you resume by pushing up on the bottom of the switch.

Not to be condescending but are you turning the cruise on first before setting it? To turn it on, move the switch to the right, once you have the speed, push down on the switch to set the cruise. Once cruise is set, moving the switch up increases speed, moving the switch down decreases speed.

I answered a similar question before from someone who didn't turn it on first.

I took the Spyder out this morning and made sure to move the cruise control switch in the correct manner and it did not work. The display cycled from on to set to off. Tried hold putting my foot under the break pedal and the same results? The bike goes to the dealer next week for them to look at it.

New 2014 and mine dont work either. Tech said bad switch assembly on the handlebar. Waiting on a new one. The run/stop switch is touchy also. I think I could look at it hard and the bike quits running.
