• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cruise control

Manual says I can set at approx. 15 mph, but in reality I cannot set until 45 mph. Anyone with info on changes, updates, etc.?

I have not personally tried to set it below 40 or so. I just use cruise control for highway driving at speeds usually over 50 mph. Sorry I cannot be of more help here.

Cruise is controled by RPM on the spyder, not the speed. In first gear you can set it at about 15, in second 25 and so on. The RPM needs to be a bit over 3000k to lock in. I use mine all the time.

Good luck

Thanks

We are traveling. Will try when we get back home. I like cruise to hold down the speeding (tickets).

Interesting...I have wondered why sometimes it will set at 45 MPH and other times it would not? Thanks for clearing this up for me as well!

We have one particularly bad stretch of road near the house with a limit of 40 mph. Being the law breaker that I am, cruise goes on at 45 for this area. Sometimes I'll lock it in in 5th, other times I'll have to drop to 4th and lock in. Figured out the whole rpm thing pretty quick.
