I have done the cruise control mod to my ST and it works very well. Like many I have looked for a knob to fit but no real success. So I designed one on sketchup and printed on my cocoon touch (Winhao clone). After one prototype I printed in yellow as it is easy to see and the LEDs light it up. I disabled the slide to "OFF" function with a piece of plastic tubing. I wanted a large knob for use with thick gloves.
Have had fun using it.
