• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Crazy excited! My RT Limited.

:congrats: and :welcome: !

You found a beauty. You got the best color they ever made, in my very humble opinion. ;) There are not many of them out there in that Lava Bronze Metallic color - which was only available on the 2012-2013 RT Limited model.

PS... Your new Spyder has indeed had the heat recall done. You can tell, not only by the air scoops, but by the ventilation gap between the upper side panels and the middle side panels (just forward of your knees when you are riding).

Thanks to all the ryders for giving me such a warm welcome and for advising me about the recall work!

I love the color and had fun taking her out for the first time today. I even got my first "I like your bike".

Also, everyone is right about shopping for gear! :p

You are going to get MANY of those remarks - and probably never get tired of hearing it. ;)

SpyderTwyn, just as robmorg noted above, you'll get that!! :D

In fact, you'd better learn to allow for 'SpyderTime' wherever you stop - that's cos wherever you stop, people will want to look & many (if not most) will want to ask questions.... the more you farkle, the more questions!!

Others have noted elsewhere that it's sorta like being a rock star, & it really is!! Even if you don't notice it too much, everyone will check out your Spyder, & if they even think they have the slightest chance of getting a reasonable response, they'll want to ask you something about it: can I take a picture; does it lean; how fast can it go; what do they cost; who makes them; is it a spaceship; can I sit on it; can I take it for a ride..... that's just a few of the most common questions you'll get!! But get them you will, and they will take up a little time just about everywhere you stop, so it's best to factor that in to your travel time allowance & learn to enjoy it!!

It's a tough life, but someone's gotta do it! ;)

:congrats: And :welcome: you have a good looking ryde there.....:2thumbs:
Enjoy your :spyder:....and have fun adding the farkles :ohyea::ohyea:.

I DID THE SAME!

Hello to all!

i am so excited! I just got my Spyder RT limited! My husband has always liked motorcycles, me not so much. A few years ago, I sat on a Can Am and just really liked how it felt.

Fast forward to today and after riding lots of demos at Daytona and searching around, we found a brand new 2013 for a whale of a deal. I'm in love!

APRIL OF 2015 I FOUND A 2013 RTL DEALER DEMO WITH ONLY 500 MILES ON IT…YEP, GOT IT FOR A FANTASTIC PRICE…LOVE IT AND GOING TO PUT A TON OF MILES ON IT THIS 2016 RIDING SEASON..WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!!!!
