I've been keeping an eye on your posts because I'm intrigued by the complaint...
I've NEVER felt as if my right foot, leg, toes, knee, shoes or pants were being cooked by the RT.
But then; I'm a Type I diabetic who's got little, if any, feeling remaining in my lower extremities
(Maybe this whole neuropathy thing can have a bright side!)
...and I live in a cooler climate...

pps:
I honestly don't know what it feels like to experience what you've been going through, and I also find it mildly disturbing that BRP hasn't responded to your emails...
Have you called them?
My gut tells me that some method to re-direct some airflow will/might help you...
But the bike is what it is; as it was when you bought it... I don't know if Southern California's ryders are universally having this issue; have you heard this complaint from others in your area?
I'm "Old-School"; if it ain't working right, I'll try to find a way to make it work for me. I wouldn't wait for BRP to re-design the bike.
Please keep us informed of your progress in this battle; Good Luck!
