• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CRASH!!!!!!

I mean clash.

It seems to be a common theme here that if YOU don't have a specific problem. No one else should.

Another favorite of mine are opinions from those who have never lived in the desert but know more about your climate than you do.

Simply don't get it......and never will.

:lecturef_smilie: And what makes you think that you know what you're talking about??? :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: :joke::joke::joke::joke:
Everybody in here is an expert about just about everything! ( Well; at least the ones that agree with me are! ;) :D)

I think that some people offer that a particular problem as not occurred to them to give some sort of balance, I agree that some become over zealous in defending their choice of ride.

You're always going to have mixed issues with anything be it a Spyder, car, iPhone 5, games machine (xbox vs PS3), breads of dogs the list goes on and on.

People will always post more negative than positives, we tend to like to vent more than praise, then we become defensive, it only nature. I think its good and bad, bad is you aggravate the situation and the post become argumentative, the good is the balance to let others know that this is not the norm.

I think we have to accept that some machine have issues, some common and some unique and a lot of machines have no issue other than the normal minor ones. I still have faith and believe that there are more Spyders with no or few issues and and a minority that have serious issues. However I'm sure my stance would change if I was one of those that had their spyder die on them.

BTW, what do you want to know about living in the desert, I saw Desert Patrol twice so I consider myself an expert :roflblack:

Having taken my first breath in Iowa should make me an expert on cold weather and a crop that should be knee high by the fourth of July. Or, should it?

;)

Yes you should be an expert on corn so what happened? :roflblack: Just rode through Iowa and the corn was dead. South Dakota and Wyoming looked more like the desert than the desert which is currently quite green thanks to the monsoons.

Over the few years that SL's has been in existence there's been a change from its inception. There seem to be more arguments of the 'cat fight' type. I never saw that when SL's first started out. The more members/participants the more opinions; I guess that's why. Some of these cat fights may be due to an increase in male estrogen (I don't mean testosterone).

My Spyder.

A comparison.

It's like having married a beautiful woman - inside and out. But, that wart on her nose that I was able see beyond and she could not afford to have removed needs to come off. She agrees and WE can afford it. It's called team work.

Thanks for your post harry.

We men become more macho when protected by a keyboard and mouse too...

Don't feel down....maybe in 3 years!

Maybe in 2016 your heat complaint will get addressed. :roflblack:

Sorry had to mess with ya. :D

WADDA YOU TALKIN' ABOUT????

As long as you agree with me, you're all set! :roflblack:

Some people do seem to be very passionate about their "things"... which is why we have so many extremes...

As far as the Desert... I saw Dune years ago, and by the look of those Sand worms, heat is the least of your problems... :)

HEY! I really dig that movie!! :2thumbs:

And I'm STILL looking for an original full-length copy of it; the chopped-up two hour or so versions just leave so much out! :gaah:
Sandworms...

If your corn is only knee high in July in Alabama you are about to have some burnt up corn!

I actually own the original full length version of dune. It's a great movie. "the Sleeper Has Awaken"

You have the original?? Four hours????
:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: :bowdown: :agree:
Can you burn a copy for a fellow "Dune-A-tic"?

Unfortunate as it is. It has resulted in a complaint because of the restrictions BRP places on its owners and dealers. Their warranty specifically states no mods allowed unless they are BRP approved equipment. Since they offer nothing for this specific problem neither the customer or the dealer dare do anything unless the customer is willing to forego their warranty (and it's likely they will need to sign a waiver to cover the dealers backside should they choose to do a mod on their own). They (BRP) says to address and attempt to resolve any issues at the dealer level before contacting them. If BRP does not have an approved modification for the problem, what is the dealer supposed to do? So, both the owner and the dealer have their hands tied due to BRP's warranty restrictions. Then you email BRP's customer support people for help and you find yourself a month later still waiting on a response. Any response. And, I continue to wait. Am I being unreasonable? Don't think so! BRP set the rules and I'm trying to operate within them.

My warranty expires in 2016 so I guarantee you it will be resolved by or before then ;)
