Cramp Buster- works

Does anyone here use the cramp buster? I had it for my trip and really liked it. I let my buddy use it for awhile and thats when I realized that I was really using it. If you order one, you gotta get the oversized one.

Did you use the Crampbuster on the stock grips? Or do you have some other grips installed?

yes, on the stock grips. There are two sizes, you need to order the oversized one for the spyder stock grips.


I got it on ebay for like $8.99 free shipping. Definitely worth it.

I use the large cramp buster on the throttle side - stock grips - have done 626 miles in 11 hours and had no problems what so ever.

I have Kury Iso grips and trottlemeister I am getting ready to install but have made good use out of my Crampbuster. I would recommend them :2thumbs:

I've been using the large Cramp Buster (CB4) for over a year now. I'm so used to it that riding without it just feels wrong.

ANYWAY.... I have the wide oversized one and I LOVE IT!! I've had it since day 1. I even gave one to one of my Spyder buddies and she loves it too. I don't like it on my other bikes though.

I have Crampbuster on my stock grips, but I got the "regular" size and it fits fine.

Used the CrampBuster on Oregon Trail trip

I have the regular CrampBuster on the stock grips and really like it. We took a long trip this summer and it helps. I had debated on getting a throttle lock before the trip but went without it and just used the crampbuster. We stopped every 60 to 90 miles to stretch and it did feel good to drop the throttle hand during those stops so I might get a lock next year.

I have both the Cramp buster and a throttle lock, I love them both. I took a 900 mile roadtrip with out it and with it and what a difference! I approve!!

My first long trip last year was 580 miles there and 750 miles back with only the Cramp Buster. I was thankful to have it but I knew I needed at least a throttle lock for my next long trip. (That's also when I knew I had to do something about the stock seat.) I first got a Throttlemeister but then changed to a Vista Cruise to get quicker (and easier for me) activation and deactivation. The ideal will be to someday get a real cruise control. :thumbup:

Interesting...I find the throttlemeister to be easy to use and it works great...can make the throttle stick or just release more slowly. I really like it for highway use...can rest the right hand nicely...plus, the added weight helps with vibration...

Rolling it on and off with the heel of my hand just wasn't working for me. Flipping a lever with my thumb is much easier.

Gotcha...I have found it easier to leave a bit of tension on the TM, making it a bit sticky...I can still manually use it, but I can also leave it in place...

Of course the McCruise is the Rolls Royce...but, don't take long enough trips to warrant that right now...
