COWTOWN USA (long story but good)

I flew from Lancaster,Pa to Cuba, Missouri to buy my Orbital Blue Spyder RTS from Len at Cowtown. What an absolute pleasure! Len offered to take me of a tour of the Ozarks on Thursday to make sure there were no issues with my new Ryde before I started my long trip home Friday. Several Spyder Lovers showed up at the store to meet me and say hello. Len and I went for tour and we met up with SpyderGene. We rode about 90 miles to Pilot Knob and that is where my ryde broke down. The "controls" on the left handle bar would not function right. Here is where it got real good. Len jumped into action made several phone calls. As luck would have it the BRP rep was at the Cowtown store. Len talked to him and he brought his pickup and trailer to pick me up. While we were waiting Gene gave Len and I a private tour of the whole area.
Friday morning Len, Dan, Kevin and another employee jumped on my ryde and had the part replaced from another machine in just a few hours. Len was unbelievably concerned that I was taken care of 100%. Aaron (BRP rep) was also very cordial and helpful, above and beyond by all. I left for home at 2pm Friday and rode 1,000 miles to PA . Len stayed in touch along the way by email to make sure I had NO issues.
To Len, Aaron and the whole Cowtown team; THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!
You too GENE!!

Cowtown obviously did a great job ensuring your purchasing experience was a very positive one. I am just wondering why you did not purchase your Spyder a bit closer to home? Are your area dealers really that bad? I live in near Baltimore, Maryland and I'm still looking for a Spyder.

Plan for April

OK Gary
I enjoyed our ride and it was good getting back up in the hills----I figured if I was in Pennsylvania you would do the same. (maybe I could come stay for a month)
So April 28,29.30.and May 1 is the Missouri Rendezvous
Here's the offer---I will buy you a sweet Ice Tea at Bailey Joe's Bar-B-Q in Ironton. Its already decided to go there for one of the lunch rides and since you know the way you can lead.
How 'bout that.

I said it before and I'll say it again, if I was closer, Cowtown would be my dealer. Great idea to head to MO and Cowtown for your purchase.

Once again, nice to hear.

A thumbs up to Cowtown that's for sure. Nice that a couple Missouri riders met you as well Gary. Hope your ride back to PA was good. I remember coming back from Detroit Michigan where I purchased my spyder, to St. Louis Missouri, it was fun stopping at the rest areas and have a crowd around my machine. Enjoy dude.

I am glad you made it home and that you were well taken care of. :2thumbs:

Hope to see you soon again, was a pleasure talking to you :D

Enjoy your new ryde!

That's a deal!

Time was running out??

I had placed my name on a Spyder RT from a dealer 's order in my area, they seemed like a good dealership. But it did not show up when scheduled and they were not sure when it would.
I started to worry that there might be no more 2010 models manufactured. I saw Len's offer on the SpyderLovers.com Spyder RT section and took him up on his offer; good pricing, tour of the Ozarks, etc.. I have never been west of Pittsburgh so I had to do it. It was just that simple.:2thumbs:

They are some of the best business owners I have ever dealt with, and Aaron should be charge of US sales, an outstanding example of what a RSM should be.

Fun On Wheels in Frederick MD are excellent as is Talbot Motor Sports in Easton on the Eastern Shore

Regarding Cowtown and Len -

I plan on stopping by Thursday and thanking Len and his team for his support as I head north to Chicago.

It is refreshing to hear stories about dealers that get the idea that customer service will generate sales.

Thanks for the write-up.

David

Maybe BRP ought to require all dealers to spend a week with the Cowtown gang.

We here in Missouri are so spoiled!:congrats::clap:

It didn't take long for me when I was in Cuba to notice this was a dealership that really cares. I can't tell you how many dealerships I've been in where I've looked around the whole store and never had one sales person ask me if I needed any help and let me walk out the door after 15-20 minutes of waiting to talk with someone. What I saw at Cow Town was Len and his crew making sure everyone was greeted and asked if they needed anything. They may not be as big as some but they have a big heart and a love for the Spyder and the folks that ride them. Can't wait for the BIG event next year. :doorag:
