• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cowtown Performance Tune Added

We are on week 2 of touring Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas and back to Tennessee. We started in Cuba at Cowtown to have some of the RT Performance stuff put on my 2010 RT AC (sparkplugs, green air filter & Two Brothers Exhaust). I had 8,000 + miles on my RT and now have 10,000+. I was very concerned about the pipes since coming off my HD I was enjoying the quiet. I do love the deep throaty sound of these pipes and I have never used 5th gear so much. I have picked up 3 to 5 mpg depending on riding conditions and am able to run in 5th gear much sooner than ever before. I also opted for Elka Shocks even though I had 2011 shocks on my 2010 and thought they were wonderful. Overall this was a great addition helping the Spyder to run cooler, faster and more efficient. Plus it sounds pretty cool too! We are playing tourist in Chattanooga at the Historic Chattanooga Choo Choo Hotel. Pet Friendly and also they are allowing us to park our bikes up on the walkway under cover while we sightsee for a couple of days.:ohyea:

Welcome to East TN

Welcome to the E. Tennessee Area. Enjoy the Downtown and the Choo Choo! I have been there several times with my co-pilot(a Yorkie) for events since I live nearby.

I am an aspirant Spyder owner, and I am working with Cowtown right now to finish off my purchase, they are great people so far to deal with!

(Edit) Now that I have learned to read - you are from NE TN, so I guess welcome to SW TN! (from your perspective)

Welcome to Chattanooga!

You probably have more than enough to keep you busy, but If you get interested in doing a ride in the area, consider heading up Lookout Mtn and over towards Cloudland Canyon State Pk. There is a great restaurant near Cloudlands named "Canyon Grill". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloudland_Canyon_State_Park

Send me a pm if you will be around on the weekend and maybe we can do a meet & greet.

Great to get to ride with you, hope your adventure goes well for the rest of the trip. The preformance package is one of my favorite mods to an Rt, the power, sound, and Handel of the whole package is to me a big difference, fuel milage gane is just a side affect lol. The ram air with the new filter system coupled together with the plugs and exhaust work really well together to bring the machine too life, and of coarse you have to have eklas to top it all off!!! One of the best things is for me you know your bike well, so it's good too see you seeing the real difference. As for cost installed with shocks 1595.00 installed total package. :doorag: includes ram air, filter, plugs, exhaust, shocks and labor all installed and tuned and dialed in.

I also had the performance package from Cowtown put on my 2010 RT recently, and I'm very satisfied with it. The elka shocks were a huge difference (still had the original 2010 shocks on it), the new muffler while a deeper tone is not much louder. The new body pieces look sharp, especially the dash.

So good upgrades, good price, and the folks at Cowtown are always professional and knowledgeable. It's so nice to work with a dealer that takes pride in their work.

Thanks for the info... The Christmas "Wish'List" just got longer!
