There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I'm Sorry

But I'm going to have to let the Gang down on this one, I've been nursing a summer cold all week and thought I would be up to it by today however that is not the case. Hect I even called in sick a couple of days much to the surprise of my co-workers. I was really looking forward to making this one since we have some new participants. Hope everyone has fun and maybe the next time.

Cowtown Ryde

Hey there folks ya'll really missed a really fun run!!! Gene's usual BS went pretty much ignored!! ( as usual) He is FUNNY also very informative on the history of the area around Ironton. Was REALLY nice of him to take over the lead after Len had to leave so he could get some"chores " done at home before he leaves for Sturgis in AM. All who kept going south had a good meal in Ironton ( my memorie isn't worth crap so can't remember the name of the place) But was GOOD food. Lotsa conversation floating around the table and I think all had a good time. I know I did. Everybody split up after that as it was getting late. I think Gene got a lot of pics, and a couple others did too. Sooo they are out there somewhere. I have to admit that driving on 32 in the dead of night is NOT one of my favorite things to do. SOOOOOOOOO am gona go back over that road in the DAYTIME!!!! WOW what a curvy thing that is!!! Fun to. Had to let Gene know I got home at 2215!!!:D Altho I did go the wrong way out of Ironton. Fixed that and got going the right way. I really think all had a really good fun ryde. Busy one too. Hope to see you all again soon on another ryde to "somewhere out there" ( Just me and my little red :spyder2:):yes::yes::ohyea:

Hi all. Home today after "Saturday" ride. Had a good time - was nice to see Len, Vanessa, Colton and the rest of their family, plus Joe and his wife (hope you feel better today, Lisa) again. Thanks to Len's mom for doing most of the work for the barbque.
Gene stepped up and and was a great guide since he hails from that area originally once we voted Len homeward bound. Was really nice to meet new faces but missed seeing MO LEE (hope you're feeling better) and Bumblebee, G-Man and family.

Thanks, I sure wish I could have joined you all. I am feeling better today Lily and I took the Spyder to Rolla today, guess I finally figured out which meds for which ailments. Even though a summer cold is miserable it just gets my immune system ready for old winter riding.
Next Time
Lee

Home safe and sound, short one license plate and heavy one bottle of wine ;)

Len, thanks for arranging all this while you were getting ready to go to Sturgis. Hope you guys have a great time there and thanks for the wine!

The roads there are wonderful! Not sure what yer gonna do with that guy who thought he was in charge... :joke:

Well alright... you can lead us anytime Gene

Great stories, great food, great ryding all in great company. Thanks for having us! We'll have to do it again... and again... and again...

If I can figger out this phone I'll see if I can get the pictures out of it...

It was good to see all of you again and meet some new SpyderLovers also. Sorry we didn't do the ride with you, but I just can't take the heat. When it cools down a bit watch out we will be all over the place and wishing for more riding time. Len, I know you are on the road already so be careful Bro.

Maybe we should have listened to you! Twice I went to the bathroom and filled the urinal with dust ;) And here I thought I was drinking more than enough...

Great meeting you Sam, maybe we'll come back for some cooler weather.

Glad we got to meet you guys and please do come back when it cools off. I much prefer to having to stop to go when it's cold vs p'n dust;).

Meant to ask if you stayed over for the night or hauled for home after the ride.

We headed back to Worden, IL (just north of St Louis) and stayed with family there before heading back today.

Next time we'll probably just stay near Cuba so there isn't a 2 hr ride to hit the sack at the end of the day.

All in all a good thousand mile weekend :D

Agree with everyone, it was a very good day.
Riding down to Johnsons shut-in and into Ironton for dinner was a lot of fun. Gene had a good story for us at every stop.
Have to admit though, riding back to Cuba, at night, curvy roads, with my phone/gps not working was a little spooky.

Many thanks to Len for hosting us and the good BBQ, especially as he still needed to get ready to leave for Sturgis the next day. Also Gene for leading us around his backyard :2thumbs:

I have a couple of pictures, couldn't get any better ones as my phone wasn't charging. Neither one does the ride justice, I'm sure I'm missing some folks in both pics.

Good to see you all!

What do you know--Len let me ride on the back of his Spyder?!?! Although Pitbull Jr. wasn't so happy to see Mom and Dad take off for an aftertoon :'(

It was great to meet Curly, Sny and Ruth, and see the rest of the gang. I can't wait for things to cool off some. I see more fun in our future!

Have a safe week!
