Thank you for all the suggestions they'll be very helpful when I start hunting a decent cover.

Sad to hear there's not much you can do to prevent certain people from touching your gear. I guess I'll just have to get real mad if I catch someone red-handed.

As to keeping people off the parked Spyder, I secure our helmets to the bike leaving them on the seats. We use a Lasso Master Lock-all cable trough the passenger hand grips. We do have full face helmets. We will cover the bike with our travel cover if were going to be away for a few hours or if it's in the hot sun. I'm going to make a shade cover this year though as an alternative.

Nelson Rigg

I have the Nelson Rigg half cover. I use it only on trips when I park my bike at the hotel for the night. It keeps the seat from getting wet and it discourages people from touching the bike. It is easy to store and install.

I did pick up the Spyder yesterday! Thank you for asking. It's currently standing on the parking lot at work gathering more than a few drops of rain. It's pouring down here so my search for a cover is being intensified.

I'm looking through all of the suggestions so far. Most of those covers are going to cost me more than € 100 after import costs and the likes. Horrible x__x
