• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Countdown untill departure

Are you riding out or trailering , We are planning on riding out from Oregon , I wonder how many brave souls from the great Pacific Northwest are riding out ?

Ryde, Ryde, Ryde....

Ryde, no trailer...I always wait until the day before I leave to determine my direction. Last year I even had my first night reservation in Butte, MT and then the wild snow came and I headed southern route...this will be my 4th Spyderfest...I highly recommend ryding IF you have warm clothes and good rain gear..you can "skirt" the snow/ice storms. But no way around the cold until you get closer to MO..if you want to ryde together let me know and we can "plan" what works best...

So Jim, the wife and I are riding to Spyderfest from Old Fort, NC and you're more than welcome to join us. We'd enjoy the company. Who knows, maybe we'll pick up a few more bikes between now and then?
If'n you're interested, we can meet and greet and chat about the details on one of these decent weekends. TTYS, Bill

Will be great to see you again. Looking forward to SF 2014. This will be my first.

I really enjoy your trip reports, Murph. Since I live only 300 miles from Springfield, I won't leave until Tuesday, the day before the official 'fest start. But with all the miles you do each year, you are my ryding idol!

Murphy, Wife and I are going to Charleston, SC. And I thought we would go though Springfield on the way. But wife wants to fly one-way so she can spend more time with sister and niece. Knows I don't want to spend a whole bunch of time visiting. I want do Dragonsback one day. Could you message me your plans and I would see if we could travel together for part of trip if you want company. Love to meet any Spyder owners in Charleston area when we are there :yes:

Hey Karyl,

Wino and I are planning to ride back there also. Not going to rush. Maybe we can hook up on the way. We will not be going the Idaho, Wyoming route but will maybe go hwy. 40. Better chance of good weather. You know me, I got to.........

Ride in comfort,
John
