• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Could not get 175/55r15 Kumho KH16 to seat on 15" rim

Richardv, sounds like you need the Bajaron sway bar kit, anti-sway bar to be accurate. Best bang for the buck. So far I have the Fox Podium front shocks, the Bajaron sway bar, and now the Kumho 175/55r15 front tires, with the unit having been laser aligned. Crazy good how it performs. No more wallowing or lane wandering, yes it is firm as I have the spring preload cranked, but I don't like scraping the skid plate on the g-bumps. Broke one already.

As for tire pressures, with the stiffer sidewalls of the Kumho in comparison to the stock kendas I see little logic in going higher in pressures. Have tried everything from 13 to 22 psi in the 155/60r15 Kumhos, am back down to 16 psi right now in the 175s. In the rear I have found the same thing, with the stiffer tire and higher load capacity you don't need the high psi, and the tire seems to wear better, am down at 22 psi. That is with my fourth Toyo Proxes 4 225/50r15. I have one of them left, then going to the 205/55r15 Yoko S drive. It is within a 1/4 inch in width, seems kind of heavy though.

Unless a rider is super sensitive to ride comfort and compliance, I would recommend to everyone that needs to replace their front tires to go with the 175/55r15 size as it was a perfect fit in the new style fenders. Better tire, less money, wider profile, just realize it is a stiffer carcass, good for handling attributes but will firm up the ride compliance. Start at 15 psi, try 17 and try 13 and see what you like better. I love my ST-S right now, too bad they quit building it. Too bad the 1330 is only available in small person models. I am too damn tall to ride an RT, or F3 for that matter. Much prefer the riding position of the ST, but that is the snowmobiler in me.

I installed the same front tires last week and then my wife and I rode up to Brainerd with the Caswell group to do some riding with SethO. Trying to stay with him is a challenge! I will not claim that I did it, but we were able to keep him within sight. These are the best handling front tires I have had on and the nanny stayed asleep the whole time. I am running 20# in them, but will try a lower setting to see how that works. I have to say that the gas mileage between 80 and 100 sure drops fast.
