In order to have a laser alignment done correctly, each of these factors have to done.
After tire pressures are checked and adjusted, the belt tracking is checked and correctly aligned so that the rear wheel is trued to the frame. The handlebars are put in the straight ahead position and both front tires are trued to the bars and the rear wheel with a slight 1/4" toe-in. The steering angle sensor MUST be checked and zeroed with BUDS. If that is not done, and it is off, it will be easy to steer in one direction and hard to steer the other. The power assist system (DPS) must apply power evenly from center to both directions. The only way it can do this is for the sensor to be centered when going straight ahead.
Don't think I've missed anything.
