MREs are a lot cheaper than freeze-dried and provide needed fuel. That's why the military uses them..

We had the the predecessor LRP-rats (Long Range Patrol) in Vietnam. We heated ours on the engine manifold of the boats.

Wife has been to two different stores the last few days and says they look like a bomb went off and are wiped out. Hope we have enough TP at home because that seems to be a scarce item!

Get a bidet ... or use a wet rag

I always kind of liked MREs although I haven't had one in 30 years. I've heard they've gotten better tasting.
