• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corona Virus Self Isolation Day 1 starts tomorrow, as I found out today I'm off for two weeks. Time to do some spring cleaning in the garage and add some goodies to the Comet! First up, changing out the tricled fender blinkers for the new tricled sequential fender blinkers. While I have the fenders off, I will also paint the calipers 1969 Ford Mustang Grabber Blue.

Anyone else doing work on their's during the Great Corona Scare of 2020???

We are not off work yet. Only no large events and schools closed. Some bank lobby's are closed

Rumor has it that Oklahoma Borders are closed, but if we can get this damned Portland, Oregon rain, drizzle, and general GLOOM to go away, I know of a little known back way into/outta Arkansas' Twisties.:ohyea::clap:

That's a really positive way to look at it!

The ones you have on there now are the flashing but not sequential ones, right? What they call Gen 1? Do they work well and if so, are you interested in selling them? I have a 2018 RTL and have thought about these but I'm not prepared to pony up the dough for a new set of the Gen 2s.

These are GREAT. Very bright and eye catching. Our city is closed down also. Putting the:spyder2: back together after installing speedbleeders ( # SB6100 is the correct size )

MONK,
Yes, i have the originals on it now. Check out the video at: https://youtu.be/Zfre4wuUYmg to see them. They work great! Just the week after I got them installed they came out with the sequential, and I have been thinking about them ever since. Plus, since i have to take the fenders off anyway, to do the calipers, I figured now was a good time to do pull the trigger. Yes, I would be interested in selling them. However, i just got the replacement kit from Tricled today, so I'm not quite sure what you will need on your end to make them work. Once I put them on I will know more. I will be sure to check back with you then.

2 weeks, turned into 4 weeks!!!

My off for two weeks, turned into off for FOUR weeks, so I need some more mods to do! Anyone got a tip on some inexpensive mods? Rumor has it, the four weeks might turn into EIGHT!!!!!

Spyder and Working from Home

One week work at home so far and more weeks at home to come.
Honey do work before Sypder work. I'm completing the build of a grow room in my garage for
sprouting vegetables, herbs, and holding bulbs. Lights are installed and sheet rock is almost complete.
Ventilation will be staged for early next week.
Next is an oil change and fluid change for the Spyder. Will install speed bleeders ASAP.
Will also do a suspension grease job. Yes, the 2013 STS has 8 grease zerks.
Can't think of any additional needed farkles except maybe new front tires.

Oil change and magic mirrors here today. Motul 7100/Outlaw filter if interested. Show Chrome plugs from LaMonster. Jury is out on those with me. They seem OK, but had no trouble with OEM either. Time will tell.
The Gov of Illinois has a shelter in place order and all non essential businesses should be closed.
That's a laugh. Nothing has changed, Everything is open, people are out.
Cant fix ignorance. I suspect worse before better.

If you haven't done so yet a good detailing; waxing/polishing Spyder and wheels, applying something to restore your black trim.

When I had my RT I installed a LED strip in the trunk with a switch that connected to a USB outlet in the trunk. A very easy and inexpensive mod that was very useful. I noticed it available from some sellers, https://spyderpops.com/rt-rear-trunk-led-light-2010-2017-will-not-work-with-2018/ and https://www.tricledusa.com/product-page/1-trunk-led-with-on-off-switch-and-dual-usb-plug-1
