• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

has any body have a corbon seat and back rest on there can am rt spyder? is it beter than the stock seat. my wife says the stock seat hurts here back when she sits on the spyder. that is keeping me from maybe buying the spyder rt. the back rest hits her in the back. where our goldwing she can lean back and rides with no problem. the corbon seat back rest looks some what like the back rest on the goldwing.

Some people love Corbin seats and others don't. The best thing you could do is try to go to a gathering of Spyders and look for other seats. If you ask the owner they will likely let you sit on it. The seats are very expensive and it wouldn't be good if you spent a bundle and your wife's butt still wasn't happy

I'm not exactly in your neighborhood or she could sit on my Spyder and check out the comfort level. I just had the seat, driver backrest, trunk rest, and passenger arm rest installed 2 weeks ago. But like Ann stated, try and find someone close and check out the different vendor seats that are available.

Corbin Seat

We have had our Corbin seat on our 2013 RT Limited for over 13K miles now. I also had a Corbin seat on my Honda Shadow therefore I was already familiar with them. If you are familiar at all with Corbin seats you will like it, if you have never sat on one it is worth trying it before hand. A brand new one will be firmer than an older one, however some say your rear gets softer not the seat. :roflblack:.

I am in Northern KY and venture north east ever so often, if you are heading south or south east anytime we can see if we can meet somewhere and let you and your wife have a ride and/or answer any questions regarding it. We have the entire suite, driver backrest, passenger backrest and armrests with a cup holder.

Feel free to PM me and we can exchange private information to connect sometime if you want.

We have the Corbin seat, rider backrest and passenger backrest. Not the Corbin armrests. Keeping in mind that the armrests are separate from the backrest. Everything stated here is right on. So you're in Erie and still on the Honda? We could probably meet up with you someplace like Meadville. Maybe at Eddie's Foot Longs and have a late lunch some day. Corbin isn't the only game in town as far as Spyder seats go but we can talk about it all. PM me if you want to try it out sometime and we'll set something up.

Look at this site and do some online research before you do business with Corbin. While there are people with good experiences, I think you'll find a lot of people who regret the decision to do business with them.

I have had two Corbin seats w/backrest. I liked the firmness. 23,000 miles on one :ani29: and 36,500 on the other.
