Corbin visit

Stopped by the Corbin location near Dayton's today. Saw an F3 seat. Looks like it sits a little farther back from the tank. Can't wait to get home and see what the measurements are on the stock seat to make sure. Corbin has a 15" seat area, which seems a bit bigger than stock.

Also the Smugglers trunk and saddle bags are scheduled for release by August for unveiling at Sturgis. I talked to the guy who is riding the F3 from Hollister, CA to Sturgis.

Corbin is very good stuff. The only downside is that it is on the expensive side. I bought a lot of it for my earlier :spyder2:'s.

The Lamonster Cut gives you another inch or so and is dished out a little more.

The guy at Corbin said the seats are the same, with just the logo difference. I have his card somewhere. Might want to correct them, then.

I don't doubt you. I recall reading the original post some time ago. I specifically asked and he said the seats were identical with only the logo difference. He even flipped it upside down and explained there wasn't enough room to make it deeper.

I think on the F3 it's just cut back a little. If you talk to the guys at the factory in CA they would be able to tell you.

Waiting on the smugglers trunk. According to the sales guy, it will be a single up seat with the back area serving as a trunk. That what I am looking for.

Still less expensive than BRPs Canonball replacement.
