I installed my Corbin seat a couple of weeks ago. I replaced my BRP Comfort seat with the 2" of extra length.
At first I really did NOT like how the Corbin seat felt! I was sliding around, the position seems to be at the stock seat distance, and the slope of the back rim of the seat pushed me forward!
I was ready to put it up for sale because it seemed so much more forward than what I was used to. BUT>>>> I found that the seat is breaking in nicely. I really like the firmness and support. Plus, the vinyl is relaxing enough that I'm not sliding around anymore.
This doesn't change the fact that I'm in a more forward position. Over these last two weeks, I've moved the TriAxis handlebars to accommodate, and NOW I actually like being at the stock position! I find with the combination of the firmer seat along with the position closer to the wheels, that it REALLY turns better! I didn't expect to have a performance upgrade with a new seat.
I honestly bought it because I liked how it looked and the website is awesome to do a custom configuration.
