• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin cases

WELL.

After waiting nearly 3 months for the cases to arrive, they were delivered to Spain 4 weeks ago but I had wait until now fly out to see them. After all the bad press I saw on here, I really was crappng myself about the quality, fit, lines etc but I have to say, WOW, they are absolutely fab.

The closing fit of the lids is very good, maybe a tiny bit of adjustment is needed but the UK dealer has ordered new latches, apparently a Corbin mod? The only problem I have is that I didn't make it very clear that I wanted the silver ones to match the bike , so they came in black. But after mocking them tonight, they look pretty good.

All I have to do now is modify the rear mudguard (fender to you guys over the pond) as the bags don't work with the European indicators, but I like a project. Maybe the Can Am rear fender, but a bit expensive?

So, maybe, just maybe, Corbin have listened to you guys?

Good to Hear.....

you will have to send along some pic's when you have them all installed with the modified parts. So will you color match them ?? otherwise looks like another long wait...:yikes::banghead::banghead:

I certainly will do.

i don't know about the colour matching, guess it will be a case of suck it and see.

i just noticed this morning that the silver panels are a flat silver and not the metallic fleck of the bike?

Why would Corbin cut a corner like this?

Wrong Color

When I ordered my saddlebags from Corbin they said they had all the colors of Can Am Spyder. So I gave them my year, make and color. Four months later I got the saddlebags and they were the wrong color. So they took them back and insisted on a painted part of my Spyder. It has now been 8 1/2 months and I am still waiting and have a missing part. I have called, gone to the store, called the Attorney General's Office, contacted the BBB and I am still waiting. You will not fine worse service when something goes wrong.

cribby,
I'm glad to hear that your fears were unfounded!
And Gene is right: pictures count for an awful lot! :2thumbs:

Agree, lousy to nonexistent customer service

Here you go. The rough brackets you see on the rear indicators are a temporary measure until we get this sorted at the dealer next week.

I ordered my Corbin bags and they said they match the color exactly to Can Am as they have all their paint numbers. When I got my bags it was not a match. Gave them a part off of my bike so they could do a color match. 4 months later they decided they could not match the color and sent me the part back. For the price you pay, they should be able to paint the bag the right color. But they don't.

Ok, so I got the bike back from the dealer last week and this is where they have placed the indicators.

They did a fab job and provided a really good service, if you're in Spain at any time, pop in and see Grant at Pacutos in San Javier.
