• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am trying to install Corbin armrests. Followed all the steps but cannot get the stock Armrests off. I can get them loose but they will not come off. If anyone has done this and can tell me what I am doing wrong, the help will really be appreciated.

I have changed out three of them. It sounds like you forgot to remove a screw. Feel free to PM me and I will send you my phone number.

Looks like..!!

they've got you covered. Double check for the mounting screws and call if it doesn't work...love it when they come to the rescue...:2thumbs:

I have asked Steve to help.
It is step 5. I have removed all the screws in the preceding steps. It's loose but will not release. Maybe I need to pull harder but the whole bike moves when I pull hard.
Thanks for all the help. I did print the instructions in color. That's much better than what came with the product.

Corbin Armrest installation

The instructions that came with my Corbin armrests said there are 2 screws inside the trunk that hold the stock armrests on. There are actually 3 screws. If you haven't found and removed the third screw, get a flashlight and look deeper into the trunk.

I had the same problem. The instructions say to remove the four screws inside the trunk sides; it should say six(6) screws. Step 2 refers to them as Allen bolts.

I had to grind some clearance on the speaker grilles and getting the hooks on the outside covers to unhook and re-hook was troublesome, but they are installed now.
