Cool Ride!

So this is my 4th night out on my new Spyder. It's been hit or miss riding with all the storms we have been having. So I have been riding for about 30 minutes each night in the cool evenings...around 80 degrees. Really getting used to going around curves...found out you really need to lean into them...thus counter acting the force trying to pull you off the bike. I've been working on trying to keep a light grip on the handles. Man thjs thing is tons of fun. By the way...when I get home and pull it into the garage...there is no gas smell and the side panels are not terrible hot...I haven't notice any of the hot foot either. Maybe 30 minutes is not enough to tell or maybe ambient temperature isnt high enough...but I think the CAT removal has helped!

Great news..!

even short rydes are fun and you have to take what you can get...if you have heat issues you would know in half an hour at 80*. Hope your weather improves fast and you can get out and put some serious miles on it...:thumbup:hyea:hyea:

Good to know that you're getting the feel of the machine.....yeah, it takes a while.
Give it a coupla months and then fit a BajaRon swaybar, you'll love what it does to the handling through the twisties!!hyea:

In curves try pushing down with the opposing foot (left cerve push with right foot and visa-versa). I find this helps stabilize me and makes having a light touch easer.
