• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Contest time, "thank" goodness

I'm thankful for Can Am, SpyderLovers, Lomant and all you members for showing me that an gimpy,"old guy" like me can have a second life of riding. I was ready to give it up before I came across SpyderLovers and all you great :spyder2:Lovers out there. I'm very excited about attending my 1st rally at SpyderFest in April. You people also gave me an opportunity to have a second career with SealFloorBoards. I love starting new business'. Nothing will keep one young like a new, exciting project, especially one that i can get so involved in and love....like riding my :spyder2:, making new friends and hopefully helping other riders enjoy their :spyder2: experiene even more. Can't wait to meet a whole bunch of new friends in April. You guys are the best! Thank you one and all.

This is such a great place to look for info, trade barbs with friends, find folks who are going for a ride nearby and find ways to tinker with these great toys that we all appreciate. I'm thankful for all of you!

Many things come to mind this time of the year. To say I am thankful to Lamont for starting, maintaining and putting up with us on this site would be an understatement.
I am also thankful for the vendors that have become site sponsors here and for the products they have developed that not only make our spyders personal, but also add to the safety of ryding as well. Many thanks go out to the gang at ESI. My spyder doesnt hide in the dark anymore and can be seen much easier now. Keep the stuff coming. There is a small dark area on the sides of the front trunk, like where some pucks would really look good...hint...hint
Got to add that I am thankful for the many in our armed forces that will be away from thier loved ones this year that work so hard to keep this country what it is and that allows us the FREEDOM to make the choices that we do.

I'm waiting for a time when all of our men and women that serve can be home to celebrate these days with thier families just like they are making it possible for us to do.

Wow so much to be thankful for..

There is the before Spyderlovers and Ms. Spyder and the after. Who would have thunk that this great grannie's life would unfold like a flower growing and blooming.
Because of all you wonderful spyderlovers....the following has occurred:

Purchased the Spyder without seeing or ryding.
Have totally trusted you when I have had a ?...and trust me some of those ?'s are totally "blond" - even tho I am totally grey!!
Have found some incredible businesses to deal with, again sight unseen. But I have learned to trust your opinions.
My enjoyment of the world has expanded because of having Ms. Spyder, getting sound, funny and wonderful advise from Spyderlovers..
Has me making plans for a trip to Cubo, MO..

The fact that here in America we still have freedoms to do, be and say...ourself. Free to be...is :2thumbs:

Where do I start!

I am Thankful to be healthy, alive, and able to enjoy life to the fullest.
Thankful for my wonderful family and friends. Especially my husband, getting us through the toughest time in our life, the loss of our daughter. Our house, vehicles, and everything we own, including having food on the table.

Thankful to have found something I really enjoy, and that is my Spyder, never thought to be ryding a spyder or any motorcycle and ryding across country.
For Lamont, Vendors, and all the SpyderLovers here on this site, you guys and gals are really great. To have such friends is a blessing.

Be Thankful of what you have, Life is too short, live it to the fullest and enjoy each day :2thumbs:

I'm thankful that I found this site before I even purchased the Spyder, and it has continued to provide useful information for me for the last 2 years. I'm thankful for all the animal-lovers on the site who support one another when we lose our best friends. I'm thankful that I get to experience Spyder road trips vicariously.

I'm thankful for all the wealth of information that can be found on this site & the willingness of all who step forward to help out whenever someone needs help. This forum shows there still is some really good people left in this world. Thank-you to all.

Deb

It's time!

Time for the November ESI Cycle Products Spyderlovers giveaway contest.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we thought this time we'd have a "things about Spyderlovers you are thankful for" contest.

Just post the thing/s about having Spyderlovers around that you are thankful for, and on 11/30/10 we'll again draw a post number to pick the winner as usual.

This time the winner will receive a Street Magic accent light kit complete with remote control for their Spyder.

So let's all take some time this holiday season to stop and remember to be thankful for all the good things in our life, and let's hear what you're thankful for about Spyderlovers.

MM

Did I miss this or did it get lost in the Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Too Busy Tuesday ~ Holiday Razzle Dazzle time of year? :joke: If so you could just forget that you forgot & send it to me because you don't remember who it was supposed to be sent to. :roflblack:

Just saying...

Deb
