There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Beautiful day for a ryde in the NC mountains. Took our RT north of Asheville to a twisty road, Hwy 63, which connected into Hwy 209, The Rattler. The Rattler didn't disappoint. Beautiful views, twisty curves, and boy was it a blast!

Where are you in Advance? I am 4th driveway on the right after Mocks Church road, 801 south.:riding:

Hwy 801, right across the street from Oak Valley. Just a couple miles from you, I guess.

I know I've seen you out and about. :ohyea:

Looks like a great ride, I'm going to look into this further.

I passed a Cognac spyder in Mocksville today was that you ? I was on my way back from Wilmington, NC but sadly not on my Spyder.

Most likely, yes. We were coming through Mocksville late afternoon.

For sure, you need to check out The Rattler.

Looking forward to tacking The Dragon and Cherohala Skyway in 2 weeks.

I did the Rattler today also! We left Maggie Valley and headed towards Highlands on Moonshiner 28. After stopping at the falls, we then took 64 east to 215. 215 is a very nice road with loads of twisties. Once we reached 276, I headed back towards Waynesville, and then took 209 (the Rattler) to Hot springs. On the return trip, I turned left onto 63 and headed towards Asheville. Once I reached Asheville, I was pretty tired, so I just hit I-40 and rushed back to Maggie Valley.

Cool! I'll be on 28 in a couple of weeks. I'll have to check out 215.

63 is a road I wasn't familiar with, but it was a nice surprise.

Well, I just got home from our 5 day, 4 night stay in the NC mountains. I logged in a total of 1348 miles.
Hopefully some of you local people will be able to take us on some of the roads that are not too popular, but still great. I tend to find new gems each time I visit. Can't wait until October.

Rattler

We did the Rattler back in early May. Did most of the rides mentioned in this post back then. Spent 5 days of serious riding. Beautiful area to ride in. Going back to do it again when I retire in 2 years. Glad you are enjoying yourself.
