• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I popped for a COMFORT SEAT and its not so comfy. I'm disappointed, for the money spent I expected better.

Is there a way to move the handle bar higher?? About 1 inch should do it

Little checking..!!

Home page, sponsors have a variety of risers. Brp also has adjustable bars. Check them out..!!

If the handlebars on the ST are like the ones on the RS you can add a riser. There are several options available if that is the case. Good luck.

So far the only handlebar risers That I could find are the ones that raise the grips 2-3". I don't see how they're installed as it requires cutting the handlebar tube.

Wish they were like the RT's, but they're not. The RS riser is a 3 bolt hole block and the ST needs a 4 bolt hole.

You could swap your ST bars for RT bars. That would get you the rise your looking for. A few have put the ST bars on on their RS with good results. All the 13's have the same mounting method and bolt pattern

Handle bars

The reason I'm looking to rise the bar is because the new COMFORT SEAT has me sitting down hill and that puts a lot of weight on my shoulders and arms. Not so bad around town but there would be some stress on a long trip.:sour:

I had my seat shaped at a upholsterer to avoid that downhill slide on my GS.They scooped a bit of foam out of the front and rear so the wife wasn't sliding forward as well.

I had one on my RS for one ride and couldn't wait to take it off.......

Well I had a backrest installed for me and she who commands, I don't think that the dealer will be interested in a return. Looks I'm going to eat the 1900.00 unless I can find someone who can work with it.

Touch base with motorcycledave and let him know what your trying to accomplish with the seat. I'm sure he could make it a ton better!
