• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I mailed in my form for the Spyders in the Smokies event, but haven't heard anything yet. Is there a phone number to call and make sure that I am registered?

You have to register?? I just made my reservation at the Red Roof Inn. I'll just show up and play it by ear. How much is this reg. fee???. I hope they will except cash. I got a bunch of the new money that the Gov. just printed last week. Don't know what the face value in two weeks:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

I haven't heard anything from them either. I just sent an email to find out if they have me or not. Cost is $25 plus $5 for each of three rides, Looks like a number of people haven't heard from Spyder Talk so there may be more Spyders there than they are expecting. There web site doesn't make it real easy to communicate with them. Use this address to address problems with web site and use this address to address this or that, but nothing specific about checking registrations. Hope my email gets to someone who will let know something. I'm sure I registered in June or July.

I am not sure but I believe registering for the event includes a t-shirt, and possibly the Friday BBQ at the dealership down there. Also, you are able to sign up for some of the escorted rides. You don't need to register just to come hang out with other spyders in Gatlinburg. There will be plenty of folks spydering around and visiting and riding. Lamont's BBQ is not part of what you were registering for on SpyderTalk. His BBQ is just that, his SpyderLovers BBQ. Can't wait to see everyone and hope you all have fun at all the various activities and all the other spyder folks.

Did you try going to SpyderTalk and sending a PM to one (or all) of their moderators or starting a thread like this on their board? :dontknow: We didn't have a fee last year. I think we paid (suggested tip for the guide) for the rides after taking the ride and we paid for the Friday dinner (Damon's catered to the BRP dealership) right at the dinner. We fended for ourselves for the other meals when we were down there.

I just got an email from Mark. I am on the list and registered. It seems if you paid by paypal you got a comfirmation. Any other form of payment you didn't get confirmation, but he said I'm registered. Looking forward to meeting everyone there.

We should have our receipt but they are pretty good in keeping records. Last year there was no fee, this time there is one including the T-shirt, Friday BBQ and a fee for the guides. IMHO we'll take over Gatlinburg on that week :2thumbs:

Spoke to my buddy and he said that I did registered. He registered after me and I told him about the run. It sucks getting old.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Sounds like a great horror movie title "The Week Spyders Invaded Gatlinburg"!!! :yikes:

Let's hope the only blood-shed is from the bugs on our windshields!!!...or in Tatt2r's case...the bug "whatever" on his face! :roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack:

(HA! I'm the funniest person I know!!!...is that why people don't talk to me?!)
