There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Compressor blown

MAYBE its time for someone to come out with a kit that allows us to bypass a bad compressor on the road and manually air up the bag and travel on???? Hint Hint Ron!!!!

I am currently having my compressor replaced on my 2015 with less that 600 miles on it. After a computer restart, the compressor seemed to work then after a few miles, it would switch to manual. Attempted to reset several time and always the same thing. Dealer is replacing the compressor but I do wonder about a leak in the bag. Guess I will need to ask some more questions as I expected him to tell me the bag was bad instead of the compressor.

Attn LARRYD
Yes, when the dealer got into the compressor area he found the compressor was shot and no new compressor available so he bypassed it at the compressor. No more issues. Until they come out with something better, I like the way it is now.

THANK YOU, larryd

When I manually air it up at the shrader valve it stays aired up until I set on the bike...Then you can hear it exhaust the air...

I'm thinking of unhooking the levelor rod and fastening it in the down or up position and see if it quits exhausting the air till the part arrives...larryd

Played around with the rod today, No luck either way...Unpluged the ride sensor, still no luck...Bike hold air all night, but when I start it and shift in gear and step on the brake it exhaust all the air...Going back to the dealer next Wed. for a compressor...Dealer said they can program the air ride system off with budds...Sure would be nice if it would hold air to ride it back...larryd

Without looking at the actual setup, under the right side panel back by the compressor is the manifold that includes the solenoid valve that dumps the air. You should be able to unplug it, disabling the valve from dumping air. This is where you would disconnect the air line going to the air balder and connect it to the schrader valve to create a manual system.

I thought about doing that when I first started my saga, but I was concerned that that valve was also what monitored the pressure. With it disabled it might blow up the airbag??

UPDATE!!! I unpluged the ACS solenoid valve and the air I put in the air bag manually STAYS in...I can now ride with my passenger until my air compressor is replaced on 8/10...

Everyone may want to make a note of this temp. fix...I was able to unplug the solenoid on my lift, without a lift you would need to remove the right center panel...

THANK YOU to everyone for you input...larryd

Not sure about everyone else but apparently mine never worked from the day I got it, July 2016. Went for a Lazer alignment from Hanover PA and they found it. He said he couldn't do the alignment without the compressor working. He replaced it, under warranty, and completed the alignment while I waited. Motorsports Inc really took care of me and Big Red. Great customer service. :D

Add me to the list

Took my 2013 RT-S to have Compressor checked by dealer initial diagnosis was the auto leveling switch. It turned out to be the compressor after all. New one has been ordered should be in next week. Thank goodness I bought extended warranty. This just means I paid for the parts in advance and won't be in plus column till parts exceed $750.00. Not that I'm hoping for bad things. :yikes:
