• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Completely pointless quiz!!

Only if they're planted there, Patti, they are definitely not a native of Wales!
There's a fishing village, Plockton, in Scotland which is at the end of the Gulf Stream and
they have palm trees around the harbour.

They have them in Barrow, Alaska, too!

But they make them from drift wood and baleen!

 Those must be the rare, "Arctic Palm". It's a sub-species of the ones in Hawaii. I heard that they grow there due to Seagulls carrying coconuts to the Arctic Circle. They use them for precision bombing runs on the seals... :yikes:
This conflict has been going on for several thousand years... The seals often retaliate with the aid of the whales...

FYI Dubliner = in Oz we have kilometres, not miles... so not us. Like your answer, though, well done.

OJ=UK some more clues please? So far all I can offer is a Lighthouse in Wales... thoroughly enjoying this, waiting for you to go somewhere I actually went on my 2 trips to UK... or somewhere my ancestors came from and where I actually have pics AND actually remember which ancestor and which town ... all too hard right now (have had a wine as it's wine'o'clock here in Oz)

I thought at first it might might be in England, but the car is driving on the left as in most
of the world. Then the Spyder has US flag stickers but that is not a definitive answer either!
In Canada we have Kms too! So maybe some where on the Great Lakes maybe.

The circular stone tower is like a norman tower but they usually have the entrance about 12
feet off ground level. The other tower could be a fire watch tower or even a lighthouse

Ill add to the quiz

Good detail fyi u can see yellow line so car is on right side just going other direction, the stone tower is whats left of old school or church (idk) & is privately built light louse nowhere near a coast(functional not super bright) ,dedicated to the dad that built it & good scenic ride. Helpful?
