• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Comparing RT to Voyager trike

Wow! Doesn't anyone take English Composition anymore? A proof reader could make bank fixing this article if paid by the word.

And a bit lacking in some factual areas as well. Like this statement for example; 'One is immediately impressed by the 200 mph designation on the speedometer (yes, it's mph not kilometers). ... Uh, no it's not!

And this one; '...electronic fuel gauge (which goes to 200)...'. Does your fuel gauge go to 200? Post a picture of that for us....

Not a bad article otherwise. It's just that a good article loses some credibility when written so poorly.

For sure an apples to oranges comparison.

I have owned an "original" kawi voyager (4 cylinder) , a Kawi 650 (4 cylinder), the Nomad 1500, the Vulcan 2000 LTD and the Vulcan 900 LTD. The kawi's are very nice machines and I never had any mechanical problems with ANY of them. Never rode them in a trike conversion but was tempted to do that to my Vulcan 900. Ended up with a second :spyder2: instead. The Spyder is the best ryde IMO if you are going to ryde on three wheels.

Warning: the above opinion may be biased as I have a bit of experience with the :spyder2: brand also. nojoke

Really..!!!

in my opinion they are similar in many ways but the differences out weigh the similarities. When asked
I tell folks aside from having three wheels you can compare...

Somehow I don't think this writer knows much about an RT Limited, the thing that sticks out : how many RTs have there been that have a PARKING BRAKE PEDAL?

I thought it was a pretty good write up. Deficient here and there, but pretty good. I thought it was mostly balanced in preparation, and it did not portray either machine in a false light. I think the Spyder is much better than the Voyager, but the article was not written to support the decided bias toward the Spyder that I have.

:agree:

Sometimes an apples to oranges comparison is exactly what a person is looking for. When I get asked questions about my Spyder the topic of other 3 wheeler designs usually comes up.

How do you know if you want an apple or an orange? By comparing the similarities and the differences. Some prefer one, some prefer the other.
