• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

An Obituary printed in the London Times.....Absolutely Brilliant !

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years.

No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:

- Knowing when to come in out of the rain;

- Why the early bird gets the worm;

- Life isn't always fair; and

- maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place.

-Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate;

-teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch;

- a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife, Discretion, by his daughter, Responsibility, and by his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers;

- I know my rights.

- I want it now.

- Someone else is to blame.

- I’m a victim.

Not very many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.

Gone with consideration and manners! :wrong:

Ooooo!!! My neighbor and I were just discussing this earlier today!!! In the past few weeks, people have gotten increasingly ruder!!!

Yesterday I was using the U-Scan at the grocery store. I was done with my stuff (scanned and paid for) and needed about a minute to bag the rest of my items. Some couple comes up, scans their stuff and sends it down into my stuff!!!! Really????!!!!! You couldn't wait a minute???!!!!! I almost asked them if they expected me to bag it for them!!!!! They were in NO hurry to leave the store after their purchase either. I had already put my stuff in the car and was leaving the lot when they finally came out of the store. What-ever!!!!

Rude......

I really do try to be considerate of people, even though a lot of them are not considerate of me. Case in point - I was standing, patiently waiting for pharmacy tech to finish helping a customer at Target today. The customer was having some type of problem. I was standing, next in line, for approximately 5 minutes or so when a man with two young people came up, asked me if I was picking up or dropping off. When I said I was picking up, he went right to the drop off window. I stood there and just said, 'mmm, okay' when the young lady with him told me he wasn't trying to get ahead of me, he was just dropping off. When the pharmacy tech was finished, she asked, "who's next?" I told her I was, heard a heavy, disgusted sigh from the drop off side, and got my Rx's. I will not be rude, but I will stand up for myself!

nojoke :yes:
