There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OK. Maybe I think too much. But what about this scenario?
A road, one lane each direction in the not-too-distant future.....
A self-driving truck heading south at 45 MPH. A woman pushing a baby carriage, with two other kids in tow, suddenly enters the street to cross without looking.
There is YOU, riding your Spyder approaching in the opposite direction, north at 45 MPH.
The self-driving truck's computer calculates that the truck cannot stop in time and will hit the woman and 3 kids.
Of course, the truck's computer sees your Spyder and realizes it has one person aboard.
Does the truck decide to swerve and kill just one person (you) rather than wiping out the 4 that are in the road in front of it?

Only me saying.... That may be the biggest waste of time and money I have
ever seen, are people too lazy to walk over to the parked bike and get on,
maybe they could redirect their time and brains on curing cancer or building
a real useful mechanical working heart.
