• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It's winter. Even though some of us are still getting in rides, it is the "slow season" for motorcycle riding and sales. I see discounts on Spyders and other bikes.

My question: Does anyone discount seats and other accessories during this time? I am thinking about the comfort seat and backrest. Thanks for any leads!

That will depend on how friendly your are with your dealer. Sometimes they can be talked down a bit. Most keep accessories at MSRP. They figure you want the accessory so bad that you will give in.

Check the part numbers you need on Ebay. Most of the seats and backrests are retail price but some are discounted a few dollars. I found a good deal for a new, old stock comfort seat at a dealer; got a charcoal gray seat for my 2014 RT-S for $425. If I remember correctly, they were asking $600 but also had an option of making an offer. I did and they accepted it.
