• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

doc. ive loved all your other ones and learned a lot. kinda wanting to take it off and see what i can goof up in the front. also wondering if the spark plugs are iridiums or not that
the factory installs. want to open up the intake restiction mike talks about. anyone
else tried it ? thanks for any help!!.--irv toms

The RTS does not have the headlight adjusters cables??

The frunk once you do it can be off in like a half any hour.

3bolts on the top two on the bottom. 10 MM

couple on the sides

Remove the latch cable

May have to disconnect a few connectors once you pull the frunk out .

The air intake will be a pain to get back on tho

Its lite and easy to move around just make sure you have space.

And then....

There is always the shop manual....can do anything with it if you want to go into it all the way...:lecturef_smilie: Don't believe you get iridium plugs but you can get them from BajaRon as well as much better plug wires.

Not for separate low beams on the frunk.

The first video would scare me into NOT trying it :roflblack:.....But it's NOT as scary as it looks - all those parts don't need to come off just for FRUNK re-moval...... From about min.8 on is what you will need to do + take off the plastic around the headlites because the two 10mm bolts closest to the latch are only accessible if you do ( I never put mine back in they aren't necessary - because all the weight of the Frunk is on the two metal hangers/clips on the upper main frame cross piece - at the end of the video you see Him lift the frunk off those clips, when you get your frunk off , you will see exactly what I mean ).... the rest of the 10mm bolts only keep the plastic from bouncing off those two clips, I have moved my Spyder WITHOUT any of those bolts , just hanging from the clips ( don't hit any bumps tho :yikes: ) ... as far as letting the engine Breathe better, I removed the entire plastic intake ( a real bit*h ) because it interfered with my shock Mod. You would achieve the same thing by not putting the rubber INTAKE BOOT back on before you re-assemble ( or I think you could rotate it ??? ).. I also didn't re-place two 10mm bolts that hold the Tupperware pieces together on either side just below the headlites ( they aren't necessary imho ) .... He didn't actually show you the two bolts underneath that hold the frunk to the frame ... get a hand mirror and flashlite and look underneath, you will see four bolts the ones with the THREADS and NUTS are NOT the ones you re-move. It's the 10mm heads that come out and they are quite long 25mm at least. Because of my short cuts and that I've done this 12 or more times, it takes me less than 10 minutes......good luck ....
