• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ColorRite touch up paint

Forget where I got the name but I figured I would buy some touch up paint. Tried ordering a couple of times on line, couldn't get it to go through. Called them, first call I was told they didn't sell it after seeing it on their site. Waited a few days and called again. Put on hold for two times and I gave up waiting for them to get back to me. What a way to do business ! :dontknow:

Millennium Yellow.
I can add that after giving up waiting I was never called back. They had my name and number from prior to going on hold the second time.

I have a pint of this color I purchased from them.

I can tell you now it is "real close' but it is not an exact match. So I don't know hwat they were thinking?

For touch ups it would be fine but for whole paint jobs on a small part you can see the slight shade color change in the right light.

If you need just a small amount for touch ups give me a call.

PPG Automotive Paints

Just for future reference if you are buying in quantity (pints, quarts etc) take your Spyder or a colored panel off your Spyder to a PPG Automotive paint store. They will computer match it and sell you as close a match as you can get. The price will be better than Colorite as well. Colorite seems to be taking advantage of their situation. They claim to have paint number matches for most motorcycles that no one else seems to have. Don't be fooled, computer matched automotive paint may be your best bet. I have had PPG do this on a number of bikes and it has always matched and been undetectable when finished.

Good luck!

Thanks, appreciate all the effort and info. Great people here who are always willing to help out.
As far as ColorRite, I'm done with them.
