• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well didn't get to ride all weekend. Weather was crappy!!!!

Will ride to work in the morning. i go in at 5:30 in the morning suppose to be 30 degrees:yikes:

Little chilly but 52 for ride home;)

With hunting season opened bambis will also be moving:shocked:

Riding season drawing to a close, :( will have to make the best:yes:

Be careful!!!....I ride year round, with temps often in the teens in the mornings here but nothing like NY. Deer are a real problem though, and I've got the titanium plates and screws to prove it :(.

Been riding here in ohio in the mornings yep its getting cold as soon as they put the ohio salt slop on the roads the spyder sleeps for the winter.

Good idea..!!

ryde till they spread the salt and sand. Those can reek havoc on your spyder. Really sorry to hear it's getting to be that time. I remember it well and don't miss it at all. Will have to put the liner in my jacket for those mountain rydes...well now you all get to start the farkeling..!! :2thumbs:j

Ride carefully is a great idea. Those early morning frosty rides are very good for encountering black ice in shady places, on/off ramps and bridges.

I am also getting near the end of the season. When snow comes to my road, I am done for the year. Light flurries tonight. :yikes:

COLD ? gee... we rode Saturday... I wore my jacket until about 9:00 am... then had to shuck it... the temp was 85 degrees at noon... not a cloud to be seen in the sky... this week is forecasted to be more of the same...................... man I love the SOUTH...

I'm going to try and log some miles this week...
It's a balmy 34 degrees here this morning; no road salt... no problem!

The wife & I are hitting the road in about an hour for a day trip up to Great Barrington, MA. 34.6 degrees here right now, forecast is for 55 in GB. I'm breaking out the leathers. Gotta ryde while we still can. I need 300 more miles to crack 10K on the RT.

Wife and I just did 700 miles last 4 days. Left PA Thursday in fog and rain. Arrived in Solomons Maryland 8 hours later to 75*. Coming home, left Solomons 50*, arrived home in PA to 40*. Very gusty winds all day coming home. One minute head winds, next side winds. We were toasty with our "Gerbings" liners. Tom :trike:

We're not climbing out of the forties here...

Git R Done while you can. The snow is coming down this morning. Linda has two inches on her side of town, the road is now white here, and the grass is getting its first layer of snow. I am thinking that last Thursday may have been my last ride of the season. :sour:

We are heading in to Summer here now a little bit cooler in the middle of the North Island, luckily we get to ride all year round, I still average around 1200kms (Over 700miles) a month in the winter. Not too bad considering I work 6 Days most weeks.

This weekend we are having our Meet-Up Groups 3rd Anniversary, which is almost in the middle of the North Island lolol at Place called Palmerston North, so it will be a bit cool, maybe around 10 Degree Celsius in the mornings. Not sure what that is in Farenheit.

Looking forward to catching up with about 50 people and 30 Spyders for the long weekend there

I know what you mean "Cold" we will be getting Rain on Tuesday thru Thursday. Temps in the 40's days, Nights 20's and cloudy during the day. My spyder is in for its long.................................................................................................................................................................winters nap. I also start work @ 5:00 am. But I take my car. Next year( motorcycle riding season) I will ride my spyder to work. I just hope we have a very short winter here in the New England states. Ride safe, and "Be on the look out for deer, and any other animals that is out that time of the morning.

When I ride my spyder to work in the early morning I watch out for "Moose" or any other animals. Deanna
