If your feeding the engine more dense air you should need more fuel, not less. Am I missing something here? I have the O2 modifier and I still get a surge at low throttle position. I hear the fuel pressure modifier makes it richer yet and takes out the surge.

Not sure if I would call it a 'surge', but the fuel mod takes away the hesitation or lag.

Hands down, it is the one mod that added the most noticable increase in acceleration that I have done.

Maybe what you're missing is without the stock o2 sensor in place you are giving a fixed reading to the ECU or whatever they call it on the Spyder.

another option is to reduce the air temp in the engine compartment. i wrapped my exhaust and the air temp in the engine compartment was reduced significantly.

I have a small section wrapped but I'm goint to take my pipes off and do the same thing. :thumbup:

Had same surge when stock. Based on reports here it sounds like they all do it but some of us are more sensitive than others.
