• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cold air intake and Spyder RS heat

So here are some pictures of my version of Blue Knights cold air intake. Not elegant. It works. On a 200 mile run yesterday the intake temp (you can see the sensor in the second picture) stayed within a degree or two of ambient. This is probably a 15 degree cooler temp than it would otherwise get. Whether it helps enough to make it worth the minimum effort I do not know. I suspect that at slower speeds and higher temps it woudl have a worthwhile impact.

Note that I did not cut my air intake trumpets nor is the 'system' air tight. I hope this helps.

Engine Ice

Pp
Or Engine Ice. I used it in ATVs for years...

Does anyone have the data or experience to back up what Engine Ice says about their product? I've been riding in 100° temps and I'm just waiting for the limp mode to raise it's ugly head again. Also, does it have any warranty implications? Thanks for any any information provided. This site rocks!

Have had cold air intake in some form on everything I want to perform for a while now,,,and fully expect to have to use a tuner since it will lean out. Trying to come up with the best option to use the 2 ports on the body that would normal house the fog lamps but want a clean look. Looking for something in the way of an insulated hose(need to minimize engine heat affect) to plug right into the existing snorkel. I'm open to ideas.
