Coil Pack

Anyone having trouble with the coil pack. I rode three mi yesterday to town ran fine. Turned it off for 5 min. started it got a check engine light , sound like it was running on one cylinder, it was the coil was not fireing on the rear cyl. I have an appointment to take it in next tues. Will update.

I would hesitate to ride it to the dealer. Having one dead cylinder on a two cylinder engine, especially with O2 sensors, can wreak havoc. At best the engine acts like the timing is way off, and if the O2 sensor senses the unburned fuel, the engine can lean out drastically. Results in many motorcycle engines are that the remaining piston will burn a hole in it. Don't ask me how I know! Worse with the air-cooled variety, but why chance it. I'd try to talk the dealer into fetching it for you if you don't have a trailer.

THE PROBLEM IS NOT A COIL PACK BUT THE ECM. HAVE SEEN THE PROBLEM TWICE.
