• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

codes please interpert

Teddy did a search using the dandy search feature and found these tid bits for you

P0500 - Invalid or missing vehicle speed on CAN

C006c is in the ECM module
It is a VSS CAN message plausibility error
Caused by communication intermittent/erratic and/or Check Sum Error.
External troubleshooting is not possible, check for communication fault

I'm not at home now, or I'd bring up the other codes in the repair manual. I'm sure someone else will chime in soon and fill in the blanks. Hope you get this all worked out sooner rather than later ;) Good Luck :pray:

Here you go:

C003A = Wheel speed sensor #4 (R) Failure

P2159 = Vehicle Speed not plausible

P0500 = Invalid or missing speed from VCM

C006C = VSS CAN message plausibility Error

Just out of curiousity ?????????????

You weren't by chance inadvertantly riding the brake any at all were you? :dontknow:

These machines are very sensitive and many of us (especially when new) were guilty of keeping our boots too close to the brake pedal, not realizing we were actually touching it and any pressure will send a signal and then the Nanny doesn't like what she senses and throws all kinds of codes. Just a heads up for future reference if this isn't the case ;)

I noticed that often on group rides at SpyderFest that someone would ride the brake for a while.

Back you go..!!

too many issues codes etc. You could try removing the key setting it away from the bike and proceed to pull the sensor relays and re installing them. Then see if the codes clear. Still best have the dealer check it and erase the codes...good luck..!! :dontknow:
