• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello to all. I'm looking for some help.
1st My Bike is a 2017 F3 Limited with 15000 miles
The other day I put on new tires and rear brake pads (I do all work myself).
After the work was done I took it for a test ride. I was out about 30 miles out when I got a Limp Mode.
I checked the codes, they are as followed:
C006C
C003A
U0416
The bike will not automatically downshift, it will not go into Cruise control, and it will not go over 50mph.
It was running fine before I did the work. I have an appointment with the dealer for the recall on June 15th, 6 weeks away. Help needed, summer is almost here in New England. I don't wanna miss it!
Thanks.

Google is your friend. Google the codes and it'll tell you what's going on.

The C003A is the rear wheel speed sensor circuit. Are you sure you reinstalled it correctly when you replaced your rear brake pads? The others may stem from that one.

Copperman is exactly right. These three codes are indicative of damage, or a re-installation issue of the rear speed sensor, after doing rear tire/rear brake work. Please don’t waste your time disconnecting the battery. Vehicle speed implausible. Did you remove the rotor or encoder wheel from the rear wheel? Did you separate them. Check your work. Any parts left over 😉? Did you add a Centramatic balancer? That changes the gap. Damage to the speed sensor harness? Did you remove the sensor from the bracket? Any little washer that was there is a shim that goes between the sensor and the bracket, not under the screw head. I can give you the proper gap spec when I get to my desktop. Somehow the sensor got wounded, or the brake disc/encoder wheel or sensor was not re-installed correctly. You get the idea. Re-trace your steps.

Update: See pic. Oh, and I almost forgot - did you change any tire sizes from what they were before? U0416 is set due to a failed correlation check.
