• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone tried upgrading to the coast to coast seat ? I am thinking about upgrading to something more comfy for both the rider and passenger but I only want to do this once .... any ideas ??

I have the leather Coast to Coast and don't really notice much difference.

I tried both the Coast to Coast and Cannonball on my F3-L and found very little difference to stock, but everyone is different, Cobra. If you only want to do the swap once, Igetaround has offered the perfect solution. I, too, am on a Russell Day long. It is custom built to your size and required seating position, with small side wings that provide support in the right places.

Thanks

Thank you for the replies :-) After talking with a few of you I have ordered the gel insert from Motorcycle Dave. I have heard some really good things about it and I have talked to Dave a few times and he seems to really know what he is talking about. For less than a hundred bucks I am going to give it a shot. If these don't do what I want I will wait until Ultimate finishes developing the F3 seat. I had one of those on my RT and liked it.
