• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CNET review of the Spyder

I didn't notice the comments until dltang told me about them. I think some of what's going is that those people on CNet aren't Spyder customers. Envision guys with thick rimmed glasses and pocket protectors. :D

Lots of negative comments on there....I signed up and added mine....lets see some more!:chat::D:spyder:
Seems to be prevalent on these news blogs these days. Apparently lots of people out there with hatred in their hearts, and venom in their pens. If you look carefully, you will see the same bloggers posting their trash on subject after subject. Ignore the comments...better yet, don't even read them. Enjoy the article for what it is worth alone.

The artical itself was truthful and positive. The comments from the peanut galley just show that the Spyder isn't everyones cup of tea....no vehicle is. Even if we got 60mpg on our Spyders, there would be those who would have no use for it. Which suits me fine....who would want to see as many Spyders on the road as Camrys or Accords?

There is truth to what they say. But there is also a lot of advantages the spyder has that was missed.
You do have to realize that every one is concerned with gas mileage because of the price of it. And it is only going to get higher.
