• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Clunk sound and out of balance feeling

Wife drove the RT today and it begin making a hard clunk noise intermittently on take off. Not a gear shift clunk, but a clunk from the left side mid-bike. Additionally, as I drove behind her I noticed the rear end wasn't driving true. It had a slight sway back and forth. When I rode it I could feel it, like a tire out of balance.

Thoughts on what to look at first?

Check the Heim links for looseness and recheck the torque on the bolts. If nuts are loose, I would recommend replacing them.

Little checking..!!

check the swingarm and wheel bearings. If the belt wanders it's in that area. Balance tends to be a hoping issue but an out of round tire or rim can but don't tend to clunk..

:agree: Check where it connects to the A-arm, AND to the Anti-SwayBar...
(You can see the lower connection, but not the top one.)

Jacked 'er up tonight and the sprockets are caked with mud. Worked around with a flat screwdriver and got much of it out. Going to grab the power washer and clean it out on Wednesday. Tomorrow is my birthday, so won't get a chance until then. :)

Thanks, everyone. Knew we hit a bit of mud but I guess it was thicker than I thought.

Would suggest that you don't take a power washer anywhere near your Spyder. Have read of many, many cases of folks using a power washer on their Spyder and then finding all sorts of electrical issue keep appearing. Your choice though my friend.
