I recently ran across this KEYSY RFID DUPLICATOR a while back and heard that it could clone the older (pre 2014?) Spyder Keys, like this one:

So I bought one at this link - https://tinylabs.io/store/ - they even gave me a discount code. It comes with a single re-writable fob and the duplicator. You just follow the directions to "clone" the RFID in the key and then copy it on to the fob. Using a regular X270 / TMC1 cut key, with the fob on the same keyring IT WORKS! And if you order extra fobs you can clone as many as you need.
Plus, the duplicator will store up to 3 other clones (like your gym card, or a keycard). The duplicator is supposed to also work as a key but I was not able to get mine to start my bike. I will work on that, but in the meantime I can always just buy more fobs.
I am not associated with them in any way. But they are very nice folks and will answer any questions you have. They established a discount code for us Spyder Riders - enter "CANAM" for 10% off.
Here is a pic of my bike RUNNING, using the new cloned fob.
