clock and day reset everytime key off

Just lnstalled the canam heated grip .:clap:

The clock and day will reset every time key off.:yikes:

And the clock are not working after set to right time.

eg. set to 13:45 and it will keep showing 13:45 forever.
key off and on again become 00:00

Had remove the whole speedo when i install the heated grip.


Anyone had the same problem before?

Check fuse F1 in the left fuse box.

:agree: your losing power to the consol. Back track and see that all the pins are good on the gang plug and nothing got pinched....

Bent contact for sure:banghead:, remove cluster and all contacts :yes:.

guys .thank you for the reply.


I took everything off again and check for fuse and conneters .

I found nothing .

Wanted to give up and live with it.

Before i put everything together ,i adjusted the high beam .

Magic happened and the clock start to walk again.

Very funny .

And here is a happy man again.

That would lead me to believe there is a problem in the DIC2 connector.
